| Our company traces its roots back to 1938, when Leon Glasser began handcrafting wooden bows in his small Bronx, New York workshop. Much has changed since that time: Wood has been replaced by synthetic materials; beginning with fiberglass, then graphite, followed by carbon fibre. Meanwhile, the computer has brought new levels of precision to the bow making process. Still, there are some things about Glasser Bows that have remained unchanged. Our company is still based in the Bronx -- although in a much larger location with production technology and |

that would have been unimaginable in Leon Glasser's day -- And our commitment to excellence is as strong as ever. All Glasser bows are made to conform to the strictest standards under the supervision of
Leon's grandsons Michael and Andrew Glasser, who heads our business today. In 2003, we completed a major upgrade of our Bronx facility,
adding all new tooling, including new injection molds and
compression molds, to ensure that we will continue to deliver high quality in the future. |

| Glasser Bows believes strongly in the quality of our products. We offer a limited lifetime guarantee on all bows made after 2003. This guarantee covers any defects, but does not cover normal wear on horsehairs or damage caused by abuse or neglect. Glasser is the only company to manufacture a full range of student and professional bows for all stringed instruments in all sizes, including violin, viola, cello and bass. All of our products are made in the USA. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The history of Glasser Bows is one that combines this total commitment to quality with a passion for innovation. Our company has been responsible for many "firsts" that have revolutionized bow making. In 1962, Leon Glasser and his son
Ray, Andrew's father, invented the fiberglass bow and were awarded a patent for their work in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany and Japan, ushering in the era of the synthetic bow. This was followed by Glasser innovations such as the use of other composite materials, creating a line of advanced composite and graphite bows, as well as vibrantly colored bows. Never resting on its laurels, Glasser has continued to forge ahead with our new line of Braided Carbon Fibre Bows, designed for the professional and advanced string player. |

| Glasser will continue to lead the way in the future, bringing innovative ideas to bow making. Our devoted customers would expect nothing less from the company that has set the standard for excellence in stringed instrument bows for almost seventy years. |
